NATASha Main

Executive Director

Natasha is the ultimate startup champion. She has worked on and started social impact and economic development projects to foster entrepreneurship and community formation. Her passion is connecting innovative people to the resources needed to help them succeed. She holds a B. A. in Economics and International Relations from Rhodes College. 

 

Margaret Breakey

Board of Directors, Treasurer

Margaret has been in the technology business for over 25 years holding various management positions as CFO and COO. She has been involved in four successful acquisitions, assisting and negotiating with VCs and major corporations with pre and post acquisition activities. In her last position as CFO, she was an integral part of the executive team responsible for the successful turnaround of an annuity software company. In her free time, Margaret enjoys biking, hiking and golfing.

Jacob eichengreen

Board of Directors, Chairman

Jacob is the Executive Director of the Quad Innovation Partnership, a collaboration between CC, UCCS, PPCC and the Air Force Academy that incubates student and alumni innovators. He also manages a financial services company in Uganda that he founded in 2015. A former Venture for America Fellow, Jacob’s background includes managing a $50M VC portfolio, spans multiple startups, and relies on healthy dose of figuring it out as he goes along.

Patrice Ravenscroft

Board of Directors

Patrice is the Executive Director/CEO of local nonprofit, REACH Pikes Peak, that has a mission to impact and elevate low-income El Paso County residents. She has worked in for-profit and non-profit for the last decade and served at El Pomar Foundation as a program associate (fellow). She is a Colorado Springs native, graduate from Chardon State College in Nebraska and former collegiate track and field athlete. She is excited about being involved with the startup community, entrepreneurs and growth.

Leif ullman

Board of Directors, Vice Chair

Leif is currently the VP of Engineering for the KidReports division of Procare Software.  Prior to that, he was the CEO and Co-Founder of KidReports, a SaaS platform for Child Care providers that connects parents and child care centers in real time. KidReports was acquired by Procare in late 2017.  Leif also serves as a mentor for the Exponential Impact accelerator, and is active in mentoring and advising local technology focused startups.  He holds a B.S in Computer Science  from the University of Colorado, and an MBA from the University of Denver.

Rachel Beisel

Board of Directors

Rachel has worked in a variety of executive leadership positions in marketing, sales and culture development in growing startups to Fortune 500 brands. She’s an experienced leader and practitioner who has served a diverse profile of companies both at agencies and businesses and has played a key role in multiple mergers and acquisitions. Rachel also founded the largest women’s cycling team in the world Colorado Women’s Cycling Project, Vino & Velo and LeadOutSales, recently acquired by CableLabs. When not building brands, you’ll find her on a bike, skis or a yoga mat.

Chelsea Gaylord

Board of Directors, Secretary 

With a history of working at the intersection of public health and innovation, Chelsea has worked with various stage startups and utilized her skills in health promotion, business, and community development to help companies and communities realize their potential across the U.S. and East Africa. During her Peace Corps service in Uganda (2015-2017), she founded Startup Uganda, a nation-wide initiative comprised of camps, mentorship, and a series of regional and national business plan competitions for young Ugandan entrepreneurs. Now the Economic Development Project Manager for the City of Colorado Springs, Chelsea continues her work to promote job creation and entrepreneurship in our community.

Kathy Zehringer

Board of Directors

Kathy is an Executive & Career Transition Coach with A Shift Happens, Inc. She loves using her own life experiences to support others in embracing empowering new perspectives for their lives. Often referring to herself as a “recovering corporate executive”, Kathy knows first-hand the value of thinking differently and is excited to join Peak Startup to nurture an attitude of collaboration & innovation in the Pikes Peak region.

Chris Franz

Board of Directors

Chris has founded, invested in, and mentored more than 20 high technology startups, focusing on software, data center, and defense electronics technologies. He has served on numerous startup and nonprofit boards to drive the entrepreneurial ecosystem including the board of Startup Colorado.

Kat Miller-Stevens

Board of Directors

Kat Miller-Stevens teaches social entrepreneurship, nonprofit management, and accounting courses in the Economics and Business department at Colorado College. She is also the Faculty Director of the Public Interest Fellowship Program (PIFP) and Nonprofit Initiatives, which introduces students to nonprofit-sector related issues and internships in Colorado.  Kat has helped numerous nonprofit organizations get off the ground and running, and she is deeply committed to social impact.  She brings ten years of evaluation and budgeting experience and eleven years of academic and research experience to this board.  Kat has a PhD in Public Affairs from the University of Colorado Denver.  She is also a proud AmeriCorps alumna.
