COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A technology start-up headquartered in Colorado Springs is helping to grow the chauffeur and limo industry all around the world.

KARL Technologies started their business in Los Angeles, but quickly grew tired of all the traffic. They then drove around the country for five months before discovering Colorado Springs as their new home.

While demand for their business isn’t the biggest in Colorado Springs, it has already gone global, with partners in 18 different countries.

KARL Technologies launched their business in November. It provides limo companies technology to grow their business with things like apps or websites that can quickly take a company global.

“And we connect you to a network of companies around the world, which means your clients can book you with your app, but they can also use your app to book a ride in Paris, for instance, and you’re going to get 15 percent of whatever they pay over there,” CEO Michael Beck said.

KARL Technologies has been so successful, they’re now taking their business to the skies. According to Beck, they are beta testing private planes to be added to their system.
