Welcome to SpringsStartUp.com

Welcome to SpringsStartUp.com.  The crew here at SpringsStartUp.com has been passionate about business and innovation in the Colorado Springs community for a long time and we’re happy to have a place on the web to voice that passion.

Our mission for this site is to provide news and information related to startup and entrepreneurial activity in the Colorado Springs community.  We aim to highlight people and companies pursuing innovative things as well as events and organizations that help foster the entrepreneurial spirit in our region.

Related to the new Startup Colorado Initiative, we hope to be an important part of the startup community in Colorado and will do everything we can to help expand the corridor of innovation along the Front Range from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins.

To help get things rolling, we’ve helped organize two new events in Colorado Springs that will be launching soon:

  • Open Coffee Club:
Taking place on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month from 7:30-9:30am, come have coffee and network with other entrepreneurs in the Colorado Springs area.  In addition, a local expert will lead an informal discussion covering a topic related to startup businesses and entrepreneurship.  Our first meeting will take place on December 1st and will feature Jan Horsfall (Board Member – Startup Colorado) leading a discussion covering topics ranging from Startup Colorado to the love of all things entrepreneurial and how to create network density in Colorado as a whole and Colorado Springs specifically.   Visit the official MEETUP.COM page for more information and to RSVP.

  • Startup Cheers:
Taking place on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month from 5:00-7:00pm, Entrepreneurs need entrepreneurs; companies form from comrades, partners, & friends so what better way to foster that then by socializing in a casual environment with like-minded people?  The very first event will take place on December 8th.  Visit the official MEETUP.COM page for more information and to RSVP.
